Yoni Cleanse Suppository FAQs

FAQS:

A normal vaginal pH falls between 3.8 and 4.5. When your pH is within this range it is much easier to keep odor and bacteria away.

What's a vaginal suppository?

It's a small capsule that's inserted into the vagina. Although, our suppositories look like a pill capsule; they're for vaginal use only. Not oral consumption.

How do I insert the suppository into my vagina?

You can use an applicator to insert the suppository or by using your finger to push it up to a comfortable place in your vagina. Insert it as far up as you would insert a tampon.

Should I continue my antibiotic or OTC remedy for a vaginal infection if I start using the vitamins?

We recommend you discontinue using the other treatment and exclusively use our cleanse suppositories because they’re safer, they work faster and they’re more effective.

How often should I insert a suppository when I DON’T have a vaginal infection?

2-5 times per week for maximum benefits, or as needed.

Should I use the suppository at night?

You can use it anytime. Just be sure to wear a panty liner as there may be watery leakage as the pill is dissolving out.

You can shower, exercise and use the restroom. It will not fall out.

You cannot have sex until it's fully dissolved out of your vagina.

Please consult your doctor.

Will the vitamins negatively affect me if I’m trying to conceive?

The vaginal suppositories don’t negatively affect fertility, although we hope the suppositories make the baby making process more enjoyable for you two.

Can I use it while pregnant or breastfeeding?

Unfortunately no. This is because the effects the borate minerals has on the baby is inconclusive. Therefore, most doctors recommend waiting until you’re done breastfeeding to use the product.

How do I eliminate menstrual odor?

The suppositories aren’t highly effective on heavy flow days because your menstruation fluids will overpower the capsule. So to eliminate menstrual odor DURING your period, insert a suppository 1-2 days before your cycle begins and on light flow days, to eliminate menstrual odor AFTER your period, insert a suppository anytime as your cycle is going off or once it’s completely off.

Can I use them with my Yoni pearl?

We do not recommend you use the two products at the same time. But, if you space it out you can use them concurrently.

Will it treat or prevent sexually transmitted diseases (STDs)?

Unfortunately, no. If you have an STD please contact a medical professional immediately.

Will it treat or prevent Urinary Tract Infections (UTIs)?

Although it’s not an official benefit of the suppositories some women have reported that the suppositories have treated their UTI. So we encourage you to give them a try and see if it works for you and if your UTI doesn’t improve after using the suppositories please contact a medical professional immediately.

Do the vaginal suppositories expire?

The shelf life is indefinite if stored properly in a dry, room temperature environment.

Are they FDA approved?

They’re an ALL NATURAL product made from the borate mineral so they don’t need FDA approval. Similar to 100% aloe vera pills, it wouldn’t need to be FDA approved because it’s an ALL natural product.
